My only comment is that "confiscator" is not the right term for the person running configure. "Configurer", perhaps?
Yeah. The "confiscator", which I would assume to be a short form variant of the term "autoconfiscate" coined by Roland McGrath, would refer to the person who converts a project to use Autoconf to generate `configure' scripts.
