I am having problems with the following setup:
WindowsXP Professional (SP1) - server
Windows NT 4.0 (SP6) - client
CVS v1.11.5
CVSROOT is set like:
SET CVSROOT=:server:me@myserver:/temp/critical/cvs/src
When executing any command such as:
cvs init
I receive: 'from cvs server
... a list of the cvs commands. Like you would receive if you just typed
cvs on the command line.
When I look at the log file for my rshd, it appears that the following is
actually being issued on the server:
Tue Jul 01 08:55:46 2003
Command: cvs -d /temp/critical/cvs/src server
So, basically I read in the documentation that the internal rsh ("server"
option) isn't supported on all platforms. Is Windows one of those
platforms or is this really a problem?
Thanks,
Jesse
