Cool! This is a background task for me, but I do, indeed plan to get it
done. I'll give this stuff a try as soon as I can. I'm planning to
upgrade the entire system today (two years of updates in one go!), so I
want to wait until that's done, to see if any of the platform
strangeness "goes away" with the update.
