Hi,
I am trying to run cvs on OpenVMS to access a Linux cvs server. I downloaded
cvs.exe from the web. After I login and run cvs co, I got the following
error:
$ cvs -d :pserver:name@mars:"/work/databases/dynac/CVS" co run
cvs checkout: cannot open CVS/Entries. for reading: no such file or
directory
cvs [checkout aborted]: cannot rename file ./CVS/Entries.Backup to
./CVS/Entries.: invalid argument
It created the directories [.RUN.CVS] and created the files
[.RUN.CVS]ENTRIES., REPOSITORY. and ROOT.
OpenVMS created the files and directories in upper cases, and it appears the
cvs client is case sensitive.
I am running cvs client for openvms version 1.9.27.
Your input is appreciated.
Thanks,
Sergs
