Incorrect revision given to taginfo on branch creation aka How to
prevent a branch tag from being created.
I would like to prevent a certain tag name from being used to create a
branch tag. So I thought I'd use taginfo.
Problem is that the revision info that is given to the program specified
by taginfo is wrong :(
Example:
Create a new file in CVS. cvs add file, cvs ci file
Then create a new branch. cvs tag -b testing file
The taginfo execed program will get a command line
argument that says the revision is 1.1 :(
It really should have a revision of 1.1.0.2.
Because of this I can't seem to stop a branch from being created :(
Thanks,
John
