The proposal is to upgrade the Windows Visual C++ project
build files (.dsw, .dsp, .dep, .mak) from a mixed version
5.0/6.0 set and standardize all at version 6.0 on the
feature branch.

I'm sending this message as the last request for comment
and/or dissent to the proposed upgrade.

The prior discussion behind this proposal can be found:

Dennis Jones reports the VC6 project files work with the
VC5 nightly build process and proposed upgrading to VC6.

Wolfgang Loch reports the VC6 project files work with
VC.Net and proposed upgrading to VC6.

I concur with Dennis and Wolfgang.

I defer to your judgment as to when and how the proposed
upgrade occurs. There's no patch to develop so it would
seem my contribution on this topic ends here.

Feedback and/or corrections if required are welcome.

Conrad Pino
