based on the assumption you wanted to join the "bug-cvs@gnu.org" mail list
and was referring to the http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-cvs at
the bottom of all list routed messages.

was to point out you had not defined "the mailing list" but had cited
the https://ccvs.cvshome.org/servlets/ProjectMailingListList page so
you might be referring to one of the mail lists on that page.

My discussion about your subscription status to "bug-cvs@gnu.org" was
both a lame attempt at some humor and incorrect to begin with.

The phrases "the mailing list" and "this mailing list" are vague.
I for one don't understand which mail list you wish to join.

Can you provide the specific proper name or email address of the mail
list you want to join?
