cvsauthenticate variable

Hello all,

I am not to familiar with bug reporting, and I am not fully confident 
about what I am reporting (if it is a bug or not), but here is the story:

extern int cvsauthenticate;
defined in client.h is not included when ./configuring for 
--disable-server --disable-client and thus generates an error at 
compilation when entering the function sprintf at line 123 of file 
release.c.

I tried to compile for a local installation only and the above error 
occured.  When ./configure --enable-client naturally the error disappears.
