I would probably just patch the bits that are necessary for it to
build and I guess the one (critical?) error you reported.  If you're
going to bother.  Both fixes are already in 1.11.19 and that's coming
out soon.

As far as I know.

The binary won't really be obsolete until the 1.11.19 binary is posted.

Oh, yeah.  Thanksgiving.  I forgot.  The release will probably be the
following Monday, then, as near as I can hit it.  :)
