How close is 1.12 to release?

I know that there are rarely any hard target dates in open-source
deliveries, but I was wondering if there was any thought given to when 1.12
branch will be "promoted" to the stable version. Are we looking at "any time
now", "maybe sometime soon", "give it a while" or "way down the road?"
