The win build for cvs1-12-x fails with :ext: and CVS_RSH set to ssh
(plink.exe). The last working cvs1-12-x version is 1.12.8, newer builds fail.
Example:
cvs -r status -v "BUGS.txt"
cvs.exe [status aborted]: reading from server: No such file or directory
I have verified this behavior with downloaded binaries as well as with
self-compiled versions. The bug seems to have been introduced somewhere
between the 1.12.8 and 1.12.10 release.
While the downloaded 1.12.9 binary works, the build itself fails (some problem
with the makefile)
The 1.12.10 binary and the selfcompiled binary both fail with the above
mentioned error.
The 1.11.x, 1.12.8 and earlier versions work as expected. Unix versions all
work ok.
Tested on w2k
