Yes, cvs supports connecting to multiple cvs servers if needed.

Well, you get to connect to potentially different servers and
potentially different repositories, which can have its own brand
of excitement, but it does work.

Consider if you want a gcc compiler from one cvs repository and various
library modules from a different repository all in one tree to do
embedded builds...
