Derek is the one that makes the call on when a
release happens.

If I had to guess, I would guess that one of the
problems blocking a new release is the complete
failure of being able to build on a windows-NT box
at present. I am not sure who is looking at that
problem.

Currently broken host implementations are:

  - windows-NT (fails to build)

  - GNU/Linux 2.2.20 alpha (testing fails on basica-o7)

Prolematic host:

  - SGI IRIX64 (testing fails on sshstdio-6)

The current CVS sources passes sanity tests on the
following host targets:

  - BSDI BSD/OS 4.2 i386
  - Darwin 8.7.0 (MacOS X 10.4 tiger) powerpc
  - FreeBSD 4.11-RELEASE-p11 i386
  - FreeBSD 4.2-RELEASE i386
  - FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE i386
  - GNU/Linux 2.6.5-7.97-pseries64 ppc64
  - GNU/Linux 2.6.8-2-386 i686
  - GNU/Linux 2.6.9-1.667smp x86_64
  - GNU/Linux 2.6.10-1.766_FC3smp (Fedora Core 3) i686
  - GNU/Linux 2.6.10-1.771_FC2smp (Fedora Core 2) i686
  - GNU/Linux 2.6.15-26-386 (Ubuntu 6.06.1 LTS) i686
  - GNU/Linux 2.6.16-1.2080_FC5 (Fedora Core 5) i686
  - HP-UX B.11.11 U 9000/785
  - NetBSD 2.0.2 i386
  - Solaris 9 i386
  - Solaris 9 sparc
  - Solaris 10 sparc

The cvs 1.12.14 will have a number of new features
and some needed bug fixes (see the NEWS file for
details).

        Enjoy!
