CVS Init

Hello,

I have been trying to use CVS on my UNIX/SUN machine but have encountered the 
following error message when entering the "cvs init" command:

cvs [init aborted]: cannot create temporary file .#12603: Permission denied

Could you please tell me where it is trying to create this temporary file so 
that I can ask for the writing permissions in this particular folder?
