Update of bug #28786 (project cvs):
Severity: 3 - Normal => 1 - Wish
Status: None => Wont Fix
Open/Closed: Open => Closed

Follow-up Comment #1:
The command
cvs <command> --help
is not a legal command.
The commands:
cvs --help
and
cvs -H <command>
will do what you suggest.
The only reason you get any output at all from 'cvs <command> --help' is
that you are also getting a '<command>: invalid option -- -' output at
the top before it trys to tell you what options you might have mistyped.
To do that, you must first have been able to properly process the global
options needed for <command> to work properly.
