This is the version to link to and bookmark, I'd think, but I'll leave our first version as a memorial to the incredible effort.
But it's nice to have proof. I simply could not write about it seriously at the time.
Moreover, SCO neglects to offer even a hint as to how it is likely to succeed on the merits of the claims at issue in Novell's Motion.
You'll be able to pretty accurately guess who wanted the language changes in each case, I think. But if you are an ex-pat living in France or will. With the hundreds of museums and monuments in the grand City of Lights, review this Top Paris Attractions short.
No doubt you have your attorney you can ask to advise you.
net is taking a monetary risk by paying for a license before the case is decided. That doesn't mean a vacation there has to break the bank.
SCO is also claiming infringement of, and control over, material it does not own. It reflects a switcheroo in strategy on SCO's part, I think. It was conducted in French, and the translation was sent to Mme. Humankind can not really function without art and music.
If a remote server dies, I'd need to push all the bits there from my artificially slow DSL or Cable connection at home. Therefore, SCO should be barred from further prosecuting its infringement claim against IBM. Like, um, reeeally fast, before Novell wins and takes all its money. I couldn't imagine anyone paying good money for a SCOsource license.
This is one less Unix box I have to spend any time administering.
I simply could not write about it seriously at the time.
How do I know that would happen? Boribon, for her approval.
No major excitement, on first run through. It is intended to be viewed in a newsreader or syndicated to another site. It seeks to defer this case for many months while it burns through the scant remaining cash assets on its balance sheet.
If by any chance you can't see the color, don't worry. It will knock your socks off to hear how the deal went down.
Humankind can not really function without art and music. Music, classical music in particular, has immense value for our society, whether it is known explicitly or not.
But why else might I do this? I call it IBM's Greatest Hits, but it's Groklaw's Magnum Opus too, for sure.
But right now I want to lay out the motivation for doing this.
Humankind can not really function without art and music.
And now for the text.
I made some quick notes, but basically SCO is like a fighter shoved against the ropes, defensively trying to keep his eyes from getting hit again rather than trying to land any blows himself.
This was a massive project, and now comes the fun of reading it all and understanding it.
But it's nice to have proof. How do I know that would happen?
