The character used in the example that follows looks like a hyphen to me
rather than a dash (‒).
You are correct. That is technically a hyphen/minus character (ASCII 0x2D), not
a unicode dash
(and certainly when using 'datamash' on the command line, users should use the
hypen/minus character).
I will update that in the next release.
