It sounds like there's space for an internet service that takes an
address, sees what is available, downloads the content the user asked
for in qhatever other formats are available, uncompresses it,
recompresses it in the format they prefer and returns the result.

Not sure how it would pay its bandwidth and CPU costs however, but
that way, everybody would be happy. :)
