Type "1,3p <RET>". As far as I know, omitting "p" in this case only prints the
last line processed, i.e. line 3.

Ranges don't seem to work as demonstrated in opening the below file in ed then
typing 1,3 RET.

bash-4.3$ wc -l geisel

red fish
blue fish
