Statically-linked ls on Solaris? |

Greetings,
I'm trying to build a statically-linked ls on Solaris 2.6, and I am getting
this
linker error:
# gcc -O2 -o ls ls.o ls-ls.o ../lib/libfu.a -lgen -static
Undefined first referenced
symbol in file
dlclose /usr/lib/libc.a(nss_deffinder.o)
dlsym /usr/lib/libc.a(nss_deffinder.o)
dlopen /usr/lib/libc.a(nss_deffinder.o)
ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to ls
#
What I am doing wrong, and/or what can I do to fix this?
TIA!
T
