% hi,

% I was wondering if you guys know of an easy way to recover files after rm
% (without -f) has been applied.

Nope. Definitely not "easy"; often not "possible".

By the way, does this have anything to do with a bug in the 'rm' program,
or any of the other GNU fileutils? After all, this list is for reporting

% File didn't live long ago to get backed up and it was accidentally deleted.
% I'm now using rm_secure and linking rm to it but I rather just have teh
% of restoring file.

I use the MIT/Athena undelete package, myself :-) I like it because it's
just as fast as rm and doesn't require an archive dir (and thus no mv).

% Could you please help?

Only you can help in this case. Your best bet is to train yourself to
always think twice before hitting the enter key!

% Thank you for your time and help.
