Works fine for me on the same platform.
If I were you, I would
1) try "make distclean" and retry — just in case some .o or .so file
was botched on your file system,
2) build on a locally mounted volume instead of in '/srv/vera30',
3) try passing different options to configure and see whether that makes
a difference.
