New diff files

Anuradha,

more changes. This time further enhancements to the
file_new_dialog.c function, making it more
userfriendly through the use of SpinButtons and the
addition of the contentversion field. A supporting
gfe_error.c file was also added to have a convenience
function to display a short error message (as in
Gnome, but since we are GTK only I needed to write
it).

I noted that I get a run-time error/warning on the
char_new_dialog.c where I get the value of the spin
button as an int. For some reason it does not see the
GtkWidget as a spinbutton.

The next thing I'll do (besides fixing the bugs I
create) will probably be writing a function to
calculat the font bounding box by walking the list of
glyphs. 

I would also like to know how you feel about
restructuring the menu a little to have a File, Font,
and Character section each of which would have
functions that operate on that particular type of
object.
