Anuradha,

GtkDrawingArea would be the most appropriate to create a font-editing
widget. I would think that it is a good idea to have a pointer to
this widget from the glyph structure? That way we can ensure we
always only have one editor widget per glyph, making it easier to
maintain consistency. Multiple views per glyph should be possible
though in my opinion.

Two other items which could justify their own widgets are a
glyphbrowser with thumbnails (from GtkClist?) and a font group widget
(grouping different instances of a font (resolutions/styles).
