convert merged PS-files

Is there a way to avoid the rasterizing of fonts on the screen?
I want to create a single pdf file out of two separate postscript-files.
First I merge the files with pswrite, than I convert with the merged file
with Ghostview into a pdf. But all the fonts on the screen look dull - no
anti alias. It is really hard to read on the screen, although the prints are
ok.
How can I avoid this without using Acrobat?
