gs6.51 problem installing lib tree

Hi,
compiling gs6.51 worked ok., but make install aborted with 
"mkdir: too few arguments".  The reason was that the variable
$(man1ext) expanded to nothing.

Adding the line 
man1dir=$(mandir)/man1
in src/unixinst.mak solved the problem.
