Forgive me if this is the wrong newsgroup -- it's the only one with
"ghostscript" in its name.
We're running Sunrays in our building that have locally attached printers
and we're trying to get Ghostscript to work with them. The one I've got to
play with is an Epson C40UX (supported by the gimp-print driver). I've got
it up to the point where the printer will stir when I send it a job, but
that's it. It'll act like it's going to print, but won't feed the paper.
LP says the job failed (sends me email, in fact).
I've looked at the output that Ghostscript is sending to the printer, and
it does occasionally report errors about "/invalidrest"s. The Postscript
file is generated by enscript, and no other printers seem to have any
problems with it. Is this a Ghostscript thing or not or what? Do you guys
know anything that might help me?
