We welcome your feedback about the documentation, samples, and tools. Due to
the high volume of e-mail, we are unable to reply to each individual message.
However, we review and carefully consider all suggestions and comments. If you
have technical questions about the .NET Framework please post them to the
Microsoft public newsgroups at (microsoft.public.dotnet.framework*).
For more information about submitting technical questions and additional
technical resources see details below under Technical Resoures.
DOCUMENTATION AND SAMPLES
The Final Release documentation is available from the MSDN online library at
http://www.msdn.microsoft.com/library. In the table of contents click the plus
sign next to .NET Development, and then click .NET Framework SDK.
The .NET Framework SDK ships many samples and code examples.
"QuickStarts"
The QuickStarts are the fastest way to understand what the .NET Framework
technology has to offer leading-edge developers. Inside you will find
information about compelling features of the .NET Framework and you will find
out how to put them to work for you. You can link to the QuickStart
documentation and sample code via http://www.gotdotnet.com/quickstart/ from
within SDK documentation. Go to the QuickStart node in the table of contents.
You can also install the QuickStarts locally from C:\Program
Files\Microsoft.NET\FrameworkSDK\Samples\StartSamples.htm.
"Tutorials"
The tutorials provide a step-by-step introduction to fundamental areas of
programming for the .NET Framework, including packaging, localizing, deploying,
and debugging applications and resources.
"Technology samples"
The technology samples demonstrate the various technologies in the .NET
Framework. These samples represent a single technology or related technologies
in an accurate and useful way for developers. These samples are installed and
ready for immediate use. You can see a complete list in the .NET FRamework SDK
documenation. Go to the Samples node in the table of contents.
"Application samples"
The application samples represent complete applications written for the .NET
Framework. As such, the application samples use several .NET Framework
technologies. These samples are installed and ready for immediate use. You can
see a complete list in the .NET FRamework SDK documenation. Go to the Samples
node in the table of contents.
"Code examples"
Code examples can be found in the conceptual and reference documentation.
