The email in question was blocked either by a virus in the attachment or
by one of the rule filters we have in place to block certain file extensions.

Should you still need to send the file, there are two options:

1) You can use "WebDrive" to send the files (especially larger files).
Thorough directions can be found at: http://cne.gsfc.nasa.gov/webdrive
(To POST a file on WebDrive, you must access the system from a NASA Center.
Anyone with the URL, Username & Password can retrieve those files from ANYWHERE)
...or...
2) Simply rename the extension of the files to anything other than ".zip"
, ".exe", ".com", and so on (for example: ".yip", ".ete", ".tom")
and include in your message instructions to rename the file extensions
to ".zip", ".exe", or ".com" on the other end before opening. For future
reference, any rejection you may receive do to file extension may be
circumvented in a similar manner for important attachments.

If you still think that this was an error, you may contact the
CNE Support Staff at 301-286-7342
