Dear all,
I've implemented a RadHat 7.2 (ghostscript 6.5x) box in order to convert ps to
pdf files.
I'm unable to create protected pdf files.
I'm using the command line:
ps2pdf -sOwnerPassword=owner -dEncryptionR=2 -dKeyLength=40 -dPermissions=-60
in.ps out.pdf
When I open the out.pdf with Windows Adobe 5.x it's not protected (only print
would be permitted with "-60" parameter)
I tried even on RedHat 9.0 (ghostscript 7.05) and the command:
ps2pdf14 -sOwnerPassword=owner -dEncryptionR=2 -dKeyLength=40 -dPermissions=-60
in.ps out.pdf
but I got same result... out.pdf is not protected.
Please,
may you help me?
Thanks,
Claudio Visigalli
