thought about glibc porting |

Hi,
I have ported glibc-2.1.3 to our own platform with cpu made by ourselves. The
method I adpoted is to modify the "sysdeps" directory, add sub-dirctories for
our cpu and write necessary source files.
Now I wonder whether glibc-porting can be done with only a "machine
description" file just like gcc-porting. In the machine description file are
the architecture definition and necessary source code. All the work of porting
is just to add a machine description file according to new architecture,
instead of adding distributed new directories and writing multi-source.
Any idea is welcome.
Best regards!
