Make sure that you have downloaded the original glpk tarball from
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/glpk or from a mirror GNU ftp site.

Use a standard procedure to compile and install the package (see the
file INSTALL included in the distribution).

Post the log output to the list providing information about OS you
are using.

As a remedy you can try remaking configure and Makefile with autoconf
and automake by yourself.
