Hello Gnash maintainers,

Three years ago, we talked about adding a paragraph at the beginning of
the Gnash home page [0]:

"Since <a
href="http://www.tomshardware.com/news/adobe-flash-end-distribution-2020,35077.html";;>Flash
is scheduled to die at the end of 2020</a>, Gnash will not be actively
developed anymore. However any security bugs in the existing versions
will be addressed."

Now may be a good time to do it, with a more recent link [1]:

Also, I would like to remove <tt> in get-involved.html (this deprecated
tag prevents us from migrating templated pages to HTML5, which would be
beneficial for accessibility):

 http://lists.gnu.org/pipermail/</a>:</p>  with webmasters are planning
to migrate all templated pages on gnu.org to HTML5 in order to improve
accessibility. But before doing this, deprecated tags such as <tt>,
<acronym> and <big> need to be removed.

If you agree with these changes but don't have time to apply them, I
will gladly do it.

All the best,
Thérèse
