I wasn't really suggesting object store as our db, I was more
interested in how it acheives scalability, and reliability. On terms of
your experience, all I can say is that I've had a better experiences
with it that you from the sounds of it :-)) It just goes to show that
selection of databases for a project is a bit of a "black art"; one db
can be great in one scenario, but diabiolical in another. It also
depends on the background of the db designer too I suspect.

Why would you expect Apache to do database mirroring?
