I just can't let one really wrong factual claim stand here.

I have no idea where you got this number; my guess is that you
just made it up.
If 19 million children died per year, that would be nearly 1
billion per year. The planet has only 6 billion people on it.
If 1/6th of the population was dying every year, we'd be gone
very soon.
If you are looking for actual facts, rather than Tom Chance's
fantasies, you should know that the World Health Report for 1998 says
that in 1997, about 140,000 people per day died WORLDWIDE and FROM ALL
CAUSES. This includes the death of wealthy people and poor people,
and includes all causes including genocide, heart attacks, starvation,
old age, car accidents, etc. 140,000 a day means just over 51 million
per year.
There is no way that "Western greed" is causing the deaths of millions
of people per week, when only around 1 million people per week die
_period_.
This is what happens when uneducated ideology takes the place of serious
thinking.
