Is this _really_ worth fixing or can it wait until

pristine trees just "go away"?



It's not really as simple as "always follow update by

adding the appropriate pristine" -- if you're updating

from some "other" branch, probably you don't want the

pristine, for example.

Can someone remind me why update does not add the pristine tree

of the revision you just updated to?  This is what larch did,

correct?

It's not really as simple as "always follow update by
