well 6570 is dead, it's not appropriate for tla. Are you aware of 'tla changes 
--diffs' ? That command is the closest match to cvs diff, which I'm guessing 
you are thinking of.

Original Submission:  Or add an alias for that.

Alternatively; you can add an alias called 'diff-files' which has the wanted 
effect after bug 6570 has been implemented.
