Summary:  tla --version is nearly useless in HEAD

Original Submission:  I have an installed build, binary dated 2003-07-29 and 
probably current on tla-devo-1.1 at that date which reports



$tla --version

tla address@hidden/dists--devo--1.0--patch-35(emf.net/devo) from regexps.com



another from 2003-07-11, also presumably up to date on that date, which reports 
the identical version, and yet another built two hours ago (a fresh 
build-config) which gives the same version.
