This is even worse than I first thought, because it prevents tla import (which 
exits with the same error message as tree-lint)

This should default to be a warning at most, IMHO.

Summary:  Directory named core should not violate default naming conventions

Original Submission:  a lot of projects use directories named "core" and those 
should not violate default naming conventions as they are not core files of 
crashed programs but directory containing source files for the "core" of the 
project.
