When I first met her she looked like she'd just finished a softball game, and she had a cute awkward way about her that sharply contrasts with some of the slick Hollywood nudes I've learned to hate.
But every once in a while, one of my commissions not only produces some great shots, but the client also gives permission to have a few images posted on ths site. I receive no part of the fee, and no other compensation from Verizon. I receive no part of the fee, and no other compensation from Verizon. I'm working on a customized tripod solution, so I'm sure you'll see more of this theme in the future. I say that without embarassment, since I was just a kid at the time.
If anyone saw the show, please let me know how it came out. As a start on this venture, I've started doing a lot more experimenting with natural light and non-canvas environments.
Second: as a few of you now know, I'm recovering from several months of radiation and chemotherapy treatments for throat cancer. More of all of these models coming shortly. let's just say, rather different. Also, today, some of my first collaborations with rope diva Midori.
For those of you who are not members, joining will never be as cheap as it is right now. As some of you have noticed, we're now sizing the images a bit larger - I hope they'll still fit on most screens.

If you're in the San Francisco area on Dec. Potatoes are amazingly forgiving and can be prepared on. I've since learned to leave most of the knotty work to the experts. I've been travelling and shooting in Europe much of the summer, so I'm just now catching up with everything back here in my California studio. Some of these girls are just beginning their careers, and I suspect you'll be seeing them on other sites, or in magazines before too long.
I don't often ask complete strangers to pose for me, but in this case I made an exception.

Note: I've started doing brand new scans of these images, and increased the on screen size a bit.
This was also one of the first times I shot with natural light in addition to the standard "studio nudes" strobe setup. I like to include some of my experiments with fetish and rope work, but it's by no means a "fetish" site.
Put this together with massive cattle ranches and a virtually unlimited supply of meat and you have.
If you're a member there, you can read the interview and see the photos; although most of the work has been shown on my own site at one time or another. Midori brought her along to model for one of the chapter openers, and I immediately knew I'd want to shoot more of her than we'd planned to be doing that day.
The photos with much brighter light and harder shadows were done against a bare wall near the windows of the studio, after we'd finished with the canvas session. Almost a year later, the three of us got together again and did this shoot in a large open studio in San Francisco, with diffused window light and some harsh skylight sun.
