This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
not to your local site managers!!
Please write in English, because the Emacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.
In GNU Emacs 20.7.2 (i386-debian-linux-gnu, X toolkit)
of Tue Jun 20 2000 on raven
configured using `configure i386-debian-linux-gnu --prefix=/usr
--sharedstatedir=/var/lib --libexecdir=/usr/lib --localstatedir=/var/lib
--infodir=/usr/share/info --with-pop=yes --with-x=yes --with-x-toolkit=yes'
Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
Hi
My name is Vladimir Támara, recently I have been correcting a
translation to spanish of the Emacs tutorial. I would like to ask you
where can we send the translated tutorial and also I would like to
point two bugs (?) in the english version of the tutorial.
In the english version of the tutorial the "X Window" system is called
"X Windows". Some day I read a book about X and it said that the name
was "X Window" without an ending "s" (also in the site www.x.org it is
called "X Window").
In the section "INSERTING AND DELETING" I found the following sentence:
"C-k and M-k are like C-e and M-e, sort of, in that lines are opposite
sentences."
I don't understand the meaning of "lines are opposite sentences".
This could not be a bug, but I don't understand it.
Good luck and have a nice day.
