As stated in the subject: shouldn't C-h f call-process show its
parameter list? It mentions parameters like PROGRAM and INFILE and
BUFFER but gives no mention to the official parameter list, as do most
functions, builtin or not (see C-h f car for an example). Especially
since it mentions those parameters, I think it needs to show the
parameter list.
e.g. it should have something like:
(call-process PROGRAM BUFFER INFILE)
to guide users as to how to call the function.
In GNU Emacs 20.7.1 (i386-redhat-linux-gnu, X toolkit)
of Tue Jun 13 2000 on porky.devel.redhat.com
configured using `configure --mandir=/usr/man --infodir=/usr/info
--prefix=/usr --libexecdir=/usr/lib --sharedstatedir=/var --with-gcc --with-pop
--with-x-toolkit i386-redhat-linux-gnu'
