CC Mode 5.28 (); Cleanups work strangely after "else if" clause |

Hi,
I'm seeing some strange behaviour involving cleanups when the
text to be cleaned up appears after an "else if" clause in Java code.
In particular, the brace-catch-brace cleanup stops working after an
"else if" clause.
Consider the following java file. Note the difference in indentation
between the two try-catch blocks. The code appears just as it does
after I typed it. I have auto-newlines on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
class test
{
public void x() {
try {
} catch () {
}
if (true) {
} else if (false) {
}
try {
}
catch () {
}
}
}
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The second "} catch (" has not been cleaned up.
If I delete the "else if" part of the conditional and retype the
parenthesis after the second catch, it is cleaned up correctly.
Things also return to normal when I replace the "else if" with the
nonsensical "else i", or comment out the "else if" clause.
Other cleanups (brace-else-brace, brace-elseif-brace) work fine. It's
just brace-clean-brace that I see the problem with.
Cheers,
Rory Molinari
