locale-coding-system: chinese-iso-8bit
default-enable-multibyte-characters: t
column-number-mode fails to report the right column of point when
point is moving past CJK charaters.
This bug can be observed by
emacs -q
C-h h
M-x column-number-mode
move the cursor to any line with CJK characters, then move it past CJK
characters.
