That was pretty clearly what one might call a `rhetorical flourish'
(though I suppose Richard might personally choose to throw his computer
out the window rather than using windows).
The general tone of the message was `please remember to think about
what's right rather than what's possible.'

p.s. I rather resent the remark about `backpedaling' -- if Richard says
something stupid, I'm certainly not going to defend him, but in this
case he said something quite reasonable, and still got shit for it.
