The IRIX Interactive Desktop Integration Guide has more details, but be
sure to put "-lSgm" before "-lXm" on the link line. To see whether it
has had any effect set *sgiMode:true in .Xdefaults and then do Open
File. If you get a dialog box like the one in

the enhanced widget is being used.
