I am worried that if for some reason I want to query-replace
backwards, e.g. I am at the end of the file and I want to
query-replace in a backwards fashion until I reach the 90% point of
the file... I am worried that I can't do it.
Don't laugh. Just like sometimes you want to search backwards,
sometimes you want query-replace backwards. At least C-h k M-%
doesn't say what to do clearly.
