Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

I closed a frame and buffer, and the entire emacs sessions crashed with the 
following error message:

X protocol error: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter) on protocol 
request 69
 
This happens many times per week (I use emacs extensively every day).
