Looking at the stack trace, the problem appears to be caused by a
DEFUN that takes more than 8 arguments. A lisp backtrace at the
point of the crash would provide more clues about which DEFUN it
might be.
Alas, I didn't get a core from the crash, so I have no way to get the
lisp backtrace. I've changed my setup so that if/when the crash
happens again, I'll be able to investigate further with gdb.
