Hi,
Launch Emacs with the -Q option, evaluate the following form, and
type `C-e'. The cursor doesn't move. Is it only for me?
(let ((buffer (get-buffer-create "*testing*")))
(pop-to-buffer buffer)
(erase-buffer)
(setq truncate-lines t)
(insert "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.\
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.\
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.\
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.\
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.\n")
(goto-char (point-min)))
In GNU Emacs 24.0.50.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)
of 2010-04-14 on xxxxxx
Windowing system distributor `Fedora Project', version 11.0.10706000
configured using `configure '--with-x-toolkit=lucid' '--without-xim''
